REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric (Grade 12), Diploma in Payroll Administration advantageous
- 3+ years’ Multiple Company Payroll experience
- Knowledge and understanding of BCEA, including all relevant legislation and statutory requirements
- Proficiency in PaySpace advantageous
- Strong Excel skills
The successful candidates will be responsible for, including, but not limited to the following:
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in compliance with data protection regulations. Update employee information, including changes in salary, tax withholding, bank details, and leave balances.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, including salary payments, tax deductions, leave balances, and benefits. Provide accurate and timely responses to employee queries and concerns.
- Assist with internal and external audits and compliance reviews related to payroll processes and records. Prepare documentation and respond to audit inquiries to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.
- Ability to convey information clearly and building strong relationships with employees, addressing their payroll inquiries, and providing clear explanations regarding deductions and benefits. Working effectively with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Effectively managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects to ensure timely payroll processing. Implementing organized systems for tracking payroll data, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
- Understands and respects the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of team members and stakeholders. Promotes an inclusive culture that values diversity in thought and experience.
